Position Summary: AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Lockport, LA that is the leading provider of quality construction, manufacturing, engineering, repair, and conversion products and services to the marine industry. A Brush and Roll Painter is responsible for applying protective coatings and finishes to surfaces using brushes and rollers. This role focuses on surface preparation, coating application, and ensuring quality finishes in industrial or marine environments. Essential Functions: Apply paints, coatings, and sealants using brush and roller techniques Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking prior to painting Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications Apply primers, intermediate coats, and finish coats to metal and other surfaces Ensure even coverage, proper thickness, and smooth finishes Inspect surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups as needed Follow coating specifications, including drying and curing times Maintain painting tools and equipment in proper working condition Work in confined spaces, heights, and shipyard or industrial environments Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of chemicals Requirements Experience with industrial or marine painting preferred Knowledge of surface preparation techniques Familiarity with coatings, primers, and protective finishes Ability to use brushes, rollers, and basic hand tools effectively Ability to work in physically demanding environments Understanding of safety standards and hazardous material handling
