JOB TITLE: BSL TEACHING ASSISTANT – FOREST GATE (FULL ACADEMIC YEAR)

Location: Forest Gate, Newham
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience)
Are you fluent in British Sign Language (BSL) and passionate about making a difference in a child’s life?
We’re looking for a calm, confident, and caring Teaching Assistant with BSL experience to support a bright, engaging child moving into Year 3 this September at a lovely primary school in Forest Gate, Newham. The child is transitioning from infants into a new junior school and needs 1:1 support with communication and learning.
This is a long-term role for the full academic year, with the potential to extend beyond. You’ll be working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to ensure the child has full access to the curriculum and a positive experience settling into a new environment.
