Join our team as a BSM Analyst Trainee! Whether you are already further along in your career or starting out, we offer you the opportunity to dive in and be trained in working on real customer projects within the financial sector. What You’ll Do Join our Trainee Program and dive into the world of Balance Sheet Management. As our BSM Analyst Trainee, you will learn and work alongside an established team of experts utilizing FIS Balance Sheet Manager to implement, model and maintain Interest Rate Risk models (IRRBB), Liquidity models (LCR, NSFR), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and Expected Credit Losses (ECL). After the trainee program you will be working together with Analysts and Data Engineers on client projects for customers across Sweden and Finland guiding on best practices in the usage of FIS Balance Sheet Manager. In the role you will learn to understand how banks operate and different characteristics for different banking products and their impact on some of the key risks that the financial institutions are exposed to. What We’re Looking For - Strong interest to learn more about the finance industry - Interest to work with client projects - Curiosity and passion to develop - Full fluency in English Nice to Have - University degree, either soon graduating or recently graduated - Modern database and data architecture expertise (e.g., MS SQL Server) - Knowledge on ETL, reporting, and programming (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Python, PowerShell) - Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud) - Previous experience with balance sheet management, liquidity management or fund transfer pricing - Full fluency in Swedish What We Offer - Trainee Academy ALM Academy is built from professionals to upcoming professionals. With over 70 different topics and over 30 professionals to guide, new trainees can learn from the best at day one. Duration of the trainee season lasts 9 months and during this time, trainees will embark in ALM Academy training course which lasts 9 weeks. During these 9 weeks trainees learn about risk and balance sheet management, regulatory reporting, technical reporting solutions, data warehouses, data management, ETL, cloud services and much more. The best part is that no matter what your position would be, you'll get to learn all of this. After the Academy, trainees continue their trainee season with their own teams, learning and honing the skills which are required to perform to our standards. When sufficient skills are established, trainees are able to support their colleagues within customer cases, giving hands on experience and responsibility. Once the nine month period is completed, trainee season ends but learning continues together with the team to become specialist. The 9 month program is paid, with a monthly compensation of 32K SEK. In the beginning of the program, you’re expected to travel to Helsinki for a couple of days to get together with all of the 2026 ALM Academy Trainees!
