Position Summary:
This course is targeted at equipping MBA students with a solid understanding of the principles and practices involved in managing large (and typically complex) projects. As future business leaders, students will acquire the critical skills to successfully initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and complete the kind of projects that drive organizational success in various industries. Students will learn the relevant project management theories, methods, tools, techniques, and work on practical exercises and real-world case studies, students will gain a deep understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. The curriculum is structured to ensure that students are well-versed in industry-standard practices in areas such as managing project scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement.
Qualifications – Required: Master’s or PhD degree.
Qualifications – Discipline: Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field
Qualifications - Areas of Specialization: Project management. To be the successful applicant for this position, your project management expertise can come through your work experience in industry, academic/professional study, teaching (graduate-level teaching experience preferred) or research you have conducted.
Qualifications - Professional Designation: Having the project management professional certification (PMP) would be an asset.
