Position Summary Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Bucket Truck/Hydraulic Mechanic in Albany, Georgia! The Bucket Truck/Hydraulic Mechanic is responsible for timely repair and maintenance of light and medium-duty vehicles and their associated aerial lift systems, generators, and other equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation. This person will also be required to operate vehicles and test all working parts in various functions to ensure proper operation. Must be able to perform an ANSI inspection on aerial equipment and DOT Inspections. Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! These lift units consist of Altec, Versalift, and Telstus. Experience in generator preventative maintenance and repair Must provide own hand tools & toolbox. Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.) Working Conditions: Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job. Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise. Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance Ability to move and position heavy objects Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
