POSITION OVERVIEW
The Division of Early Childhood (DEC) is seeking to hire a Budget and Fiscal Management Administrator. This position designs and directs aspects of DEC general revenue and federal funding; manages, plans, develops, and directs maintenance of a comprehensive organizational responsive public budgetary system and fiscal plan to assist DEC executive management in determining and forecasting resources and cash flow and availability; facilitates Continuous Quality Assurance and corresponding learning activities within the Bureau; and participates in activities that advance the DEC/Strategic Plan and DEC/Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Racial Justice Plan, using a trauma-informed and an equity lens in the implementation and support of DEC program and operational outcomes and objectives. DEC is seeking to hire a dynamic, organized, and detailed-oriented employee. DEC is one of six divisions within the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS). DEC serves to strengthen and centralize Child Care, Early Intervention, Home Visiting, and Migrant and Seasonal Head Start within DHS.
