Our goal is to create a comfortable environment that brings the essence of New Tecumseth to life.
This will be our third independently owned store and we are looking for positive, friendly, and motivated Budtenders to join our team! Our Budtenders will be key players when it comes to our brand experience. You will help to create an inviting and friendly atmosphere that aims to welcome everyone, no matter your experience level with cannabis. JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Create lasting impressions and meaningful experiences with customers by building relationships and appropriately qualifying customer needs
• Demonstrate a high level of cannabis knowledge and effectively communicate this to customers; drive sales by educating customers on cannabis products
• Accurately process sales transactions at the cash desk, with proper operation of the POS system, handling forms of tender with accuracy and efficiency
• Successfully achieve sales goals and business metrics and seek opportunities to contribute to and improve the business on a daily basis
• Support new hires through mentorship; Participate in ongoing staff education and through sharing of product knowledge
• Take ownership of individual awareness of product knowledge
• Practice proper inventory management and report inventory discrepancies as they come up to ensure customers have access to the right stock to drive sales and customer satisfaction
• Process product shipments in a safe and timely manner; organize stockroom efficiently and as per legal storage requirements
• Complete all tasks and duties within the store, as assigned by management or as required
• Attend and actively participate in monthly staff meetings and inventory counts
• Adhere to all operational standards and procedures (education, merchandising, cleanliness, security, checklists etc.)
• Adhere to Cannsell Standards of legal cannabis sales and to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, provincial and municipal legislation
• Abide by all company policies and programs, ensuring compliance
  Additional Requirements:

Minimum age of 19+

• At least 1 year experience in a retail service environment
• A passion for all things cannabis: Knowledge of the various forms of cannabis, including strains, types, and effects; Knowledge on the various methods of consumption
• Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
• Prior dispensary experience an asset
• CannSell Training Certificate (Must posses prior to interview if selected)
• Criminal background check (Must possess prior to interview if selected)
• Ability to take and give constructive feedback
• Flexible with hours of work and ever changing duties
• Positive and outgoing personality to ensure a high level of customer and team interaction and satisfaction
• Willingness and eagerness to learn about new products and launches
• Experience in handling and utilizing POS systems. (Additional training for the Cannabis POS system will be provided)
• Demonstrate high levels of integrity and responsibility
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Eagerness to learn
• Experience in inventory management an asset
• Able to lift boxes 5-30 lbs
