Located in Victoria West, a stones throw from the Inner Harbour on Vancouver Island. While the business has only been operating since fall of 2020, the Victoria Cannabis Company is guided by a team whose commitment to excellence in the industry has roots reaching as far back as 25 years. The legacy of this experience informs and augments our every decision, resulting in a tangible level of quality that makes our product shine.
The Victoria Cannabis Company is comprised of two micro-cultivation facilities and one nursery. This fosters our ability to enrich the cannabis market with the finest quality product that our skilled team can yield. We grow traditional quality BC craft cannabis on Vancouver Island in the territory of Lekwungen (Songhees Nations).

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 19+ years of age
• Impeccable customer service
• One (1) year customer service experience
• One (1) year retail sales experience (preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods (preferred)
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
• Valid Selling It Right certification
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License is an asset

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Guide and direct consumers in their cannabis purchasing
• Provide education on available products and accessories
• Answer customer questions and concerns
• Build a loyal customer base
• Execute daily tasks and merchandising needs while ensuring customer priority
• Knowledge of basic computer functions and POS systems
• Meet and exceed sales goals
• Maintain store cleanliness, performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing display
• Ensure compliance in all transactions
• Taking inventory and assisting in inventory related tasks as directed by the Inventory Manager
• Unpack, sort, count and label merchandise as directed
• Using sales cycle to offer consistent customer experience
• Occasional/regular delivery driving, using company vehicle as required
• Cash handling and other duties as directed
