Salary: $19-20.00 per hour, depending on experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. **Reviewing Work Orders:** - Read and interpret work orders to understand project requirements. - Ensure materials and specifications match the provided instructions. 2. **Operating Machinery: ** - Run and calibrate the Omega Up-Cut Saw to accurately cut materials according to specified dimensions. - Operate the Balestrini Mortise and Tenon machine to create precise joints in door components. 3. **Assembly:** - Glue, assemble, and clamp door components according to provided instructions. - Ensure proper alignment and fit of door parts during assembly. - Maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process. 4. **Quality Control:** - Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. - Identify and address any defects or issues with the assembled doors. 5. **Maintenance and Safety:** - Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning and longevity. - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials. - Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Requirements What we will need you to have: - Previous experience operating woodworking machinery, specifically the Omega Up-Cut Saw and Balestrini Mortise and Tenon machine, preferred. - GED or equivalent required. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. - Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders. - Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift and move heavy materials and components. - Stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. - Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise assembly work. Work Environment: - The work environment may include exposure to dust, noise, and machinery. - Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required.
