We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality of our facilities through regular maintenance and cleaning tasks. The Building Maintenance Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance or building management would be an asset
  • Project management skills would be an asset
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and across departments is required.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Facilities Manager on all aspects of building maintenance
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems including water testing
  • Manage snow removal, some yard maintenance, garbage and recycling collection
  • Perform daily cleaning of bathrooms, hallways and vestibules
  • Ensure deep cleaning of entire school over the summer including window cleaning and furniture moving
  • Maintain records of all maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
