This position is responsible for the delivery of a clean, friendly and safe environment that enhances the participant’s experience and ensures customer expectations are met under the direction of the Facility Manager. Starting Hourly Rate: $17.50 PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Represents the District as a point of contact to program instructors, residents, customers, participants during programs. Responsible for maintaining control and monitoring the building. Responds to all customer comments and questions in a timely fashion. Have a basic working knowledge of the RecTrac and WebTrac registration system. Maintain cleanliness of all areas throughout the facility (i.e. mopping, vacuuming, garbage). Report to the Facility Manager any repairs and supplies needed. Knows, understands and adheres to Park District policies and procedures. Maintain a proactive approach to safety and risk management. Report all accidents, incidents and unsafe conditions in a timely manner. Execute effective emergency procedures as needed. Performs all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of the District’s safety program. Performs any additional related tasks as required. Requirements Must be least 18 years of age. C.P.R., AED, and First Aid Certification required; or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire date. Must have strong interpersonal skills and work well with the public and other staff. Ability to follow direction and work independently.
