Job Description
The Remote Operations Center (ROC) Field Technician is responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving offline points and controller issues within the Building Automation System (BAS) across a large-scale hospital network. This role focuses on critical system adjustments to chiller plants, air handling units (AHUs), and temperature-sensitive areas such as operating rooms and pharmacies. The technician will also document system changes and collaborate closely with other team members to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the BAS across multiple facilities.
This is a hybrid position in the Kansas City area.

6. COMPLIANCE & CRITICAL ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure that all adjustments made in critical environments meet healthcare regulations and facility protocols.
  • Respond to emergency situations where critical systems (e.g., chiller plants, AHUs in operating rooms) may be malfunctioning, making immediate corrections to prevent downtime.

Additional Job Description

  • Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to on-site hospital facilities when needed.
  • Available for on-call to respond to critical alarms or system issues after hours.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
