Job Description
Under general supervision, provides highly technical skills in the construction, installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic and pneumatic controls.
Schedule : Monday-Friday from 7:45am-4:15pm with possible overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for layout, construction, installation, repair, modification, inspection and maintenance of electronic and pneumatic equipment based on electrical circuit, engineering, and mathematics principles.
  • Commission new direct digital control systems. Document commissioning details and communicate deficiencies and progress.
  • Create new points and alarms from sensors based on equipment/system requirements. Read and write programming for Johnson Controls systems. Create new graphics pages and edit existing graphics.
  • Confers with users in order to gain an understanding of their needs and/or provide technical advice.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots equipment problems using diagnostic techniques.
  • Orders and installs replacement parts as needed.
  • Installs and programs controllers for new construction projects.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Low Voltage Control Systems, Electromechanical, Pneumatic and Electro-pneumatic devices.
  • Knowledge of all building and safety codes.
  • Proficiency with computers and building automation software.
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents/plans.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
