REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience of site work, foreman or similar role would be advantages.
  • Trade background, ideally joinery or multi-skilled.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable using digital systems, forms and apps for site management
  • Valid CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
  • First Aid at Work (desirable)
  • Based within commuting distance of Leek, Staffs.
  • Keen Eye for Detail.
  • Driving Licence.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Foreman to join our team and take responsibility for delivering the construction, repairs and refurbishment projects. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be expected to work on the tools on a daily basis while supervising and coordinating finishing trades to ensure snag-free, high-quality completions.
The role is currently based in Leek , Staffs You’ll work closely with our Directors and Management Team to ensure all works are completed to programme and to the highest standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and coordinate all finishing works (e.g. decorating, joinery, flooring, roofing, minor snagging)
  • Work on the tools as needed to support delivery and maintain momentum
  • Manage and motivate subcontractors and direct labour on site
  • Liaise with the GMHD Office team and site contacts
  • Close out snagging lists promptly and ensure a high-quality finish
  • Maintain site cleanliness and compliance with PPE and health and safety standards
  • Keep accurate site records including daily updates, photos and material tracking
  • Assist with handover documentation and the sign-off process
  • Assist with raising access permits and reviewing site-specific documentation
  • Consult asbestos registers and assist with RAMS preparation and compliance
  • Use company systems to input job details, upload photos and track progress — computer skills are important
