Description Tarantino Properties is seeking a reliable, experienced Building Engineer - Lead Maintenance with hands-on experience in high-rise mechanical systems, including fan coil units, central chiller, and boiler operations. Responsibilities: Lead daily operations and maintenance for a high-rise residential property. Oversee and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fan coil units, chillers, boilers, pumps, plumbing, and electrical systems. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and system performance. Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements Cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas Provide residents with outstanding customer service Requirements 2+ years of building maintenance experience; high-rise or large multifamily property experience preferred. Proven experience as a Building Engineer or similar role Strong background in HVAC systems, particularly fan coil units, chillers, and boilers. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
