This is a fantastic role for an experienced Building Estimator within residential, or a Carpenter who has done estimates/quotes, to work as a Building Estimator and commence your career in our Estimating team located at the stunning Metricon Robina Office on the Gold Coast
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting potential site issues regarding the inner urban build area
- Ensuring production work is carried out in a timely manner
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services and processes to deal confidently with all stakeholders
- Ensuring relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved

The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years residential Estimating or Quoting experience OR Carpenters looking to get off the tools and become an estimator
- Carpentry trade qualification, an Associate Diploma in Building Construction or equivalent construction knowledge
- The ability to produce building cost estimates with the highest degree of accuracy
- Proficiency in the use of Estimating Software or excel doing estimating/quoting and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast paced, goal driven and dedicated team environment
