Job Summary This position will be responsible for maintaining the facilities and grounds; keeping them in a safe and working order. Responsibilities include * Fixing facility plumbing (faucets, toilet, urinals and drains) * Fixing facility Roof Leaks * Painting * Dry walling repairs and ceiling repairs * Reading the meters daily * Fixing outside lighting * Installing flooring * Inspecting emergency lighting monthly * Inspecting fire extinguishers monthly * Removing snow and spreading salt * Weeding and mulching flower beds * Mowing the lawn * Any additional items as assigned by manager Principle Contacts Inside/Outside the Company This position will be interacting with other maintenance personnel, manufacturing engineers, management, and other company employees. Competency or Position Requirements * Must be trustworthy and maintain the security of the facility * Must be an effective communicator * Detail oriented * Ability to follow instructions, work well with others and also alone * Driver’s License * All Armor employees are also expected to demonstrate Armor’s core values of being: * Customer Focused * Passionate about Work * Solution Oriented * Driven by Integrity Education and /or Experience * High School Diploma or equivalent is required * 2 years of experience in a related trade * Any Building and Grounds Certificates are preferred Equipment Used This position will use a forklift, scissor lifts, zero turn, snow plow, chain saw, and power tools. Working and Physical Conditions This position will be indoor and outdoor work and will require lifting, sitting, climbing, walking and bending on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for maintaining facilities and grounds to ensure they remain safe and operational, involving various repair tasks for plumbing, roofing, painting, and drywall. Duties also include routine inspections, meter reading, groundskeeping, and snow/ice removal.
