IntelliStaff is seeking qualified Building Inspectors to support residential construction projects in Nunavut. This role involves living in a local community and conducting inspections throughout the construction process to ensure homes meet all regulatory and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Building Inspector with at least 5 years of experience in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes, safety standards, and cold-climate housing practices.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to live and work in a remote Northern community.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Conduct inspections of new residential homes under construction.
• Evaluate compliance with building codes, construction standards, and energy efficiency guidelines.
• Document deficiencies and work with project teams to correct them.
• Provide detailed written reports and recommendations.
• Maintain communication with project managers and local officials.
