Description We are seeking a dependable and diligent individual to join our team as a Building Maintenance Assistant. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and managing daily garbage and recycling duties to maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept environment for residents. The successful candidate will play an essential role in preserving the comfort and safety of our building community. Responsibilities: Daily garbage and recycling removal, including transporting bins to and from designated areas Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobby, stairwells, and amenity spaces Assist with light maintenance tasks such as basic repairs, bulb replacements, and general upkeep Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management in a timely manner Support seasonal and ongoing property maintenance tasks Assist the superintendent or management team with additional operational needs as required Requirements Prior experience in building maintenance, porter, or janitorial work preferred Ability to lift and move heavy items (trash bins, supplies, equipment) Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and safety Must be authorized to work in the United States References may be requested Background check required
