Responsibilities

The Building and Maintenance Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the operational efficiency and professional environment of CrossState Credit Union Association’s Harrisburg office. Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources & Operations, this position is responsible for coordinating daily building functions, vendor relations, and general administrative support across departments. This is a part time position; working hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 8:00am to 5:00pm, for a total of 24 hours per week.
This individual serves as the primary point of contact for office maintenance needs, ensuring the workplace remains functional, safe, well-organized, and welcoming for employees, visitors, and external stakeholders. From managing facility-related vendors to supporting internal events and maintaining inventory, the coordinator ensures all behind-the-scenes operations run smoothly and professionally.
Success in this role requires a high level of reliability, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving facility or administrative issues before they escalate. By supporting both people and processes, this position contributes directly to a positive and productive workplace culture.
