Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Engineer to maintain the overall condition of our facilities. A Building Engineer is a hands-on professional with a practical mindset and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate works independently and responsibly, with a minimum of three years of maintenance experience and a solid understanding of mechanical systems, general plumbing, and electrical knowledge. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment Service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint Evaluate maintenance operations and make recommendations for upgrades or cost-saving measures Safely operate tools and equipment used in facility maintenance Respond promptly to emergency situations and service requests Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe conditions and preventive maintenance needs Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarms and related equipment Use technology effectively, including smartphones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, and building automation systems Core Competencies Technical proficiency Flexibility Multi-tasking ability Sense of urgency Requirements Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in building maintenance Comfortable using technology such as smartphones and tablets for work orders Knowledge of general maintenance methods and processes Working knowledge of tools, appliances, and common devices Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors, and stand for long periods Willingness to work overtime and participate in on-call rotations as needed Benefits We offer competitive salary and benefits in a team-oriented environment.
