Essential Functions / Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general fixtures. - Conduct regular inspections to identify areas needing repair or maintenance, reporting any issues promptly. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders. - Assist in the setup and breakdown of facilities for events and special projects. - Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of building facilities, including restrooms, offices, and common areas. - Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical fixtures. - Handle waste management, including recycling and disposal of hazardous materials as needed. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime. - Safety Sensitive Position - Other duties as needed or required Work Environment: -Primary work environment is the production floor. - Secondary work environment is the office. - Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. - Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift. - Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns. - While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be required. Required Skills and Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification preferred. - Proven experience in building maintenance or facility management. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects as necessary. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer service. - Experience with hand and power tools - Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Special Requirements: -Safety Sensitive: This job is designated by Valley Forge & Bolt Mfg.
