The Department of Environmental Services (DES) [https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Departments/DES], Facilities and Engineering Division seeks two Building Maintenance Operations Supervisors reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Section Chief to manage a team that provides building repair and maintenance services to a portfolio of over 80 County buildings, which includes HVAC Mechanics, Building Engineers, Stationary Watch Engineers, and contracted service staff. The Supervisor will oversee the maintenance of critical sites at (2) Data Centers and (6) radio sites, including the operation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, emergency power equipment, plumbing, equipment, computerized building automation systems, building envelope, and other related components.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of technicians and contractors to provide repair and maintenance services for over 80 County buildings. Oversee critical infrastructure including data centers and radio sites, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
