The Department of Environmental Services (DES) [https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Departments/DES], Facilities and Engineering Division seeks a Building Maintenance Operations Supervisor to manage one of 3 teams that provide building repair and maintenance services to a portfolio of over 80 County buildings.  This Supervisor will report to the Facilities Maintenance Section Chief and supervise HVAC Mechanics, Building Engineers, Stationary Watch Engineers, and contracted service staff. The Supervisor will oversee the maintenance of critical sites at (2) Data Centers and (6) radio sites, including the operation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, emergency power equipment, plumbing, equipment, computerized building automation systems, building envelope, and other related components.
Responsibilities
The Building Maintenance Operations Supervisor will manage a team responsible for building repair and maintenance services across over 80 County buildings. This includes overseeing the maintenance of critical sites such as data centers and radio sites.
