JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various maintenance disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance. You will be responsible for supervising maintenance activities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
  • Supervising experience is preferred to effectively lead the maintenance team.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for efficient management of maintenance tasks.
  • Proficient in welding techniques and practices.
  • Electrical experience is essential for troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Mechanical knowledge to understand and repair various types of machinery.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide the team towards achieving goals.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations and manage a team of maintenance staff.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide repair processes.
  • Conduct welding tasks as needed to maintain structural integrity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on performance metrics.
