The Brick is actively seeking to expand our distribution team. We need enthusiastic people with a great customer focused attitude! This position reports to the Distribution Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform building detail and operate building detailing equipment
  • Perform MHE battery maintenance and repairs
  • Perform and document preventative maintenance/repair, as required, on designated DC fixtures (overhead doors, dock plates, etc.) and equipment located at the DC
  • Perform and document scheduled inspections of designated tools, equipment and the workplace
  • Take required training for building repairs and property maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment
  • Knowledge of most aspects of property maintenance
  • Ability to perform a wide range of building repairs
  • Ability to think creatively, develop and adjust repair techniques as the situation requires
  • Able to perform minor plumbing repairs
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge and use of equipment such as: Forklift, order picker, power cart, pallet jack
