REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in building maintenance, with working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective tenant interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Vehicle: A truck or SUV is highly preferred for transporting tools and materials between properties.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willing to shovel snow at 3 apartment buildings (sidewalks & paths)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and provide exceptional service to our apartment building tenants. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of maintenance tasks, including resolving tenant issues directly in their suites and ensuring that all repairs are conducted efficiently and professionally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Address and resolve tenant-reported issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks in tenant suites and common areas, including minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work.
  • Conduct routine inspections of building systems and equipment, identifying areas in need of maintenance or repair.
  • Collaborate with property management to prioritize and schedule repairs and address urgent issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed repairs and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
