Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of buildings and building systems Carry out basic plumbing work, including drilling holes on steam pipes, creating tappings, installing air vents, and replacing steam traps Perform basic concrete and masonry work such as crack repairs, brick replacement, and minor patching Conduct basic inspections and read schematic diagrams and construction drawings Ensure all work complies with safety requirements and applicable building regulations Work collaboratively with team members to complete maintenance and repair projects efficiently Respond to emergency maintenance requests when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times Requirements Basic knowledge of building maintenance practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and develop new skills Familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus Understanding of safety protocols and regulations
