Job Details Job Location: FLA-Daytona Beach Corps - Daytona Beach, FL 32117 Position Type: Full Time Regular Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Salary Range: $14.00 - $14.50 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Property Schedule/Hours: M – F 8:30am-4:30pm (40 hours per week) This position is responsible for: Perform routine repairs and maintenance of building, equipment, and vehicles; performs routine grounds keeping work to ensure the beautification of the landscape; perform minor plumbing and carpentry repair work. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance of Salvation Army vehicles; monitors and replenish all fluid levels. Sweep, vacuum, strips, mops and waxes floors Assembles and moves furniture including chairs, desks, tables, bulletins bords, etc. Physical requirements and working conditions: Knowledge of general building and grounds keeping practices and procedures. Ability to learn by method of on-the-job-training including ability to follow instructions. Ability to perform routine and monitor and maintenance activities of the building and grounds Ability to maintain equipment and tools effectively and in a safe matter.
