JOB SUMMARY

The Building Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the facility, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all occupants. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and facilities management. The Building Manager will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise staff, and manage projects to enhance the building’s functionality.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role with supervisory experience.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding programmable logic controllers (PLC).
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and general building maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on efficiency and quality outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics is preferred. This position requires a proactive individual who can maintain high standards of safety while ensuring the smooth operation of all building functions.

  • Lead project management efforts for renovations or upgrades within the facility.
  • Provide training to staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures.
