Job Description We are seeking an experienced and driven Building Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Johnson Gardens, one of our flagship assets. Reporting to the Property Surveyor and Director, you will take full responsibility for delivering an exceptional workspace experience while ensuring the property is safe, compliant, efficient and commercially successful. This is a key position requiring strong operational expertise, sound financial acumen, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day oversight, guidance, development and support to a team of circa ten onsite staff. The Role You will oversee all aspects of building operations, leading the on-site team and service partners to maintain the highest standards across cleaning, security, MEP, health & safety and compliance. You will be accountable for the service charge budget, financial performance and risk management of the asset. Working closely with clients, customers and internal stakeholders, you will create a productive, inclusive and premium workplace environment where occupiers can thrive. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Play a key role in the development and support of the on-site team Drive performance, engagement and succession planning Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative culture Oversee service partner performance and SLA compliance. Customer Experience Deliver a proactive, innovative and premium workspace experience Build strong relationships with clients and occupiers Act on customer feedback and lead improvement initiatives Position the property as a destination of choice. Financial & Commercial Management Manage and control service charge budgets Report regularly on financial performance and risk Contribute to asset strategy and commercial growth opportunities Support lifecycle planning and long-term investment strategies. Operational & Compliance Ensure statutory compliance across the property Maintain high standards of health, safety and security Drive sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
