We’re looking for a building mechanical technician to join our project team at the Pratt & Whitney Canada Facility in Longueuil. We have a multidisciplinary team there with about 35 resources onsite including structural, electrical and mechanical engineering as well a interior design and construction management

Your main responsibilities

  • Coordinate, verify and design mechanical building systems for our major customer Pratt & Whitney Canada across the country from their Plant A in Longueuil.
  • Help carry out surveys of existing conditions, draw up plans using AutoCAD and Revit, and write specifications
  • Help prepare budget estimates
  • Work closely with the project team to develop solutions tailored to client needs
  • Provide assistance in regards to site supervision
  • Internal and external project coordination with multidisciplinary teams and clients

Your Profile

  • College degree diploma in mechanical engineering or building engineering.
  • Be registered as a member of L’ordre des technologues du Québec, an asset.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in consulting engineering or a related field with HVAC and plumbing design.
  • Fully proficient in French, both written and spoken.
  • Comfortable working with the Microsoft Office 365 suite and with the AutoDesk suite (REVIT and AutoCad).
