REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with extensive experience in Building Sciences
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Canada
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a passenger vehicle

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness to function in a team-based environment
  • Aptitude for and general understanding of building construction methods and procedures
  • Client management expertise

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

In this role, you will combine technical expertise and leadership to deliver building science projects from design through construction while helping drive the growth of our service line.
You will work on a range of projects including new construction, retrofits, building condition assessments, and certification support (e.g., BOMA).

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead projects in building design, third-party design reviews, commissioning, and construction services
  • Review design documents, shop drawings, and submittals for compliance with best practices
  • Manage the preparation of contract drawings and specifications
  • Confirm systems are built to approved design documents
  • Assess existing buildings and preparing detailed assessment reports
  • Review and write proposals, pursue business development opportunities
