Responsibilities

TEAM PURPOSE

Give every heating professional the confidence to design, size and sign-off air-source-heat-pump systems in minutes, not days—meeting MCS and CIBSE standards first time and accelerating the UK’s switch to low-carbon heating.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Turn standards into stories – distil MCS-020, MCS-031, MCS-3005-D, EN 12831-1 and CIBSE Guides into clear user stories with acceptance criteria and edge-case tables that engineers can build against.
  • Draw the “standards-to-screen” map – maintain a live matrix showing which page, field or report in Aireo satisfies each clause of the standards, so design and QA spot gaps early.
  • Guide design & development – run requirements workshops with installers, brief UX on domain quirks, and walk devs through data-field definitions and test cases.
  • Own audit readiness – review every new feature against standards before it ships and supply the evidence pack Compliance needs for MCS audits.
  • Document & demo – write release notes and help-centre articles; record short demos so field teams and installers understand new workflows immediately.
