Reporting to the Principal Engineer (Building Services), you will be involved in diverse projects ranging from schools and hospitals to commercial spaces and complex residential developments, all while being supported by a passionate and experienced team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

In this role, you will collaborate as part of a supportive team and:

• Assist with the design of ground source heat pump systems for both new-build and retrofit projects.
• Perform system calculations to size heating and cooling systems, including pumps, vessels, emitters, and pipework.
• Attend site surveys to collect essential data on buildings, utilities, and existing systems.
• Help prepare detailed design documents and technical reports to justify design choices to clients.
• Provide technical input to the sales and estimating teams, ensuring solutions meet client requirements and budgets.
• Contribute to project planning, helping develop and manage project timelines.
• Assist in ensuring designs meet safety and regulatory standards, with guidance from senior engineers.
