SUMMARY

Acorn Engineering is seeking a Building Services Engineer with an electrical bias, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems at the centre are operating efficiently and safely.
Using our CAFM system, you’ll perform planned preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and keep essential services running smoothly.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working across plant rooms, high-level access equipment, and public areas – always maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

KNOWLEDGE & UNDERSTANDING

• Demonstrable knowledge of statutory requirementsDESIRABLE:
• Familiarity with CAFM systems
• Experience within a retail or large commercial environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering Maintenance
• IET 18th Edition
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance engineering role
• IOSH Safety Passport or equivalent awareness

• Carry out PPM and reactive electrical maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NICEIC and H&S procedures.
• Support energy efficiency and monitor plant performance.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Assist other departments and respond to call-outs.
• Participate in emergency rota and out-of-hours support.
