Description Overview The qualified candidate will have prior manufacturing facility maintenance experience including the following: Ability to Troubleshoot Electric Machines and Equipment of all Types Including Production and Building Systems. Possess Basic Industrial Electrical Skills PLC Knowledge is Not Required, but Preferred Especially for Compensation Higher in the Pay Range Basic Hydraulic Knowledge Knowledge of Various Welding Equipment (preferred) Experience on General Building Mechanical Maintenance including HVAC, Breaker Boxes, Lighting Fixtures etc. Responsibilities Ensure that facilities are cleaned, organized and that procedures are followed to the standard of quality expected from an in-house facility manager. Perform routine maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems. Maintain inventory of supplies and order them as needed. Manage work orders and requests for services from vendors. Coordinate with other departments to ensure all facilities are in good working order. Inspect buildings for damage and necessary repairs and act accordingly. The final responsibility is to ensure that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently at all times. Required Skills/Abilities Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Proven experience as a Facility Technician or similar role. Knowledge of basic building maintenance techniques and methods used by facility managers to ensure quality service from contractors. Excellent knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance. In-depth understanding of facility management systems (HVAC, electrical, HCLS) preferred. Thorough knowledge of correct storage and handling of materials with high standards for safe storage and sanitation. Excellent communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills. A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, climb ladders and other physical tasks as assigned.
