The opportunity We are seeking a motivated and driven Building Services Manager who has had experience in a similar position with a main contractor and the skills to deliver a professional standard of customer service and maintain a positive a cooperative attitude towards clients. This role works closely with both site and preconstruction teams to deliver high‑quality building services on complex commercial projects. On site, you will oversee building services trade installations, monitor programme progress and quality, and proactively resolve issues. You will provide practical, reliable services management support to the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery. During preconstruction, you will contribute technical expertise by reviewing trade tenders and assisting with construction methodology and programming. You will have a strong mechanical and or electrical background, with experience across new builds and base build services. A solid understanding of core building services and New Zealand Building Code standards is essential. You will be confident communicating with trades and subcontractors and effective at building trusted working relationships. You will be organised, self‑motivated, and committed to safe delivery, best practice, and teamwork.
