ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a skilled Building Services Technician (Plumber) to maintain and repair plumbing systems across a diverse range of council buildings. You’ll bring strong fault-finding skills, contractor management experience, and a solid understanding of building safety, compliance, and permit-to-work systems. With 3+ years’ plumbing experience, NVQ Level 3 (or Level 2 with extensive experience), and Gas Safe registration, you’ll be confident working at height, in confined spaces, and using safe systems of work. Bonus qualifications like IOSH/NEBOSH, BMS/HVAC experience, and IPAF are welcome. If you’re proactive, customer-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.

Essential criteria for the role

• Have 3+ years of plumbing experience with relevant qualifications City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (will consider Level 2 with extensive relevant experience).
• Gas safe certification and registered (Individual).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE

• Strong knowledge of Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8.
• Mechanical Building Services Technician practical knowledge.
• HVAC Experience.
• Strong proven experience in operating Building services across multiple sites.
• Experience of working and operating in a Permit to work system.
