JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Window Tinter to join our team as a subcontractor for building site projects. The ideal candidate will specialize in the installation of solar, decorative, safety, and privacy films on commercial and residential windows. This role requires working independently on active construction sites, coordinating with other trades, and delivering high-quality results within project deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in commercial or residential window tinting/film application.
• Knowledge of different types of films (solar, decorative, safety, privacy, frosted, etc.).
• Ability to work on construction sites safely and in coordination with other trades.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• CSCS card or relevant site safety certifications are mandatory
• Must carry appropriate insurance as a subcontractor.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with large-scale commercial projects.
• Knowledge of glazing systems and glass specifications.
• Problem-solving skills for complex or custom installations.

• Measure, cut, and apply window films to a variety of glass surfaces in new-build and renovation projects.
• Read and follow project specifications, drawings, and work orders.
• Ensure a clean, precise, and bubble-free finish on all installations.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and site regulations (PPE, health & safety protocols).
• Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and other contractors.
• Provide own tools, equipment, and reliable transport to and from worksites.
• Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
