Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting applications for one (1) permanent, full-time position of Building Standards Coordinator in the Building Standards division of Planning and Development.

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Building Standards, the Building Standards Coordinator will act as Registrar for the Rental Registry implemented under the R-400 By-law. As registrar, they will be responsible for identifying trends and compiling risk assessments for rental buildings that will require inspection. This position will also be responsible for the modernization and maintenance of other Building Standard’s filing systems and digital material (forms, spreadsheets) and the analysis and comparison of multiple complex datasets.

SALARY: NSGEU 222 level 06, $34.87 per hour
WORK LOCATION: 3rd Floor of Duke Tower (5251 Duke St. Halifax, NS)
