Your Main Responsibilities

• Carry out technical design and coordination for various building structure projects.
• Work closely with engineers and technicians to develop solutions tailored to client needs and execute projects in various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential) related to building structures. May take the lead on small projects.
• Perform surveys of existing facilities.
• Analyze, design, and adapt structural systems related to buildings.
• Estimate construction costs.
• Write technical specifications and reports.
• Provide support for construction site supervision.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Building Engineering with a focus on building structures.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) as a junior engineer (CPI nearing completion) or as a recently licensed engineer.
• Ideally, 3 to 5 years of experience in building design, including work on existing buildings.
• Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency with CSI software suite (Etabs, SAP2000, Safe) and familiarity with Autodesk software (REVIT and AutoCAD). ADA is an asset.
