JOB SUMMARY:

The Building Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety of a designated building or facility. This role ensures that all building systems function effectively and that the property remains secure, clean, and well-maintained for tenants, employees, or visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in building systems or facilities management preferred.
  • Minimum [3–5] years of experience in building supervision, facilities management, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with facility management software is a plus

    Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Supervise maintenance, janitorial, and security staff on-site.
  • Ensure building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are functioning properly through regular inspections and maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate and oversee repairs, renovations, and upgrades.
  • Liaise with contractors, service providers, and vendors.
  • Respond to tenant or occupant concerns, complaints, and emergencies.
  • Enforce building rules, safety standards, and health regulations.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, incidents, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety laws, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor utility usage and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Develop and manage building maintenance budgets (as required).
