We currently have a vacancy open for a Building Surveyor who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at our Birmingham office, subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for the delivery of building surveying services for a range of projects. You will be providing technical expertise, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations. Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include: Assisting with conducting building condition surveys and producing clear, insightful reports for clients. Supporting the preparation of tender documentation – including drawings, specifications, and schedules of work. Assisting with tender submissions, contractor analysis, and the drafting of JCT construction contracts. Taking part in pre-contract briefings and ensuring smooth project handovers with the team. Carrying out regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and health & safety compliance. Attending client and project meetings, representing the business with professionalism and technical confidence. Travelling to sites and client locations as required. A relevant degree or strong working experience. Experience working with AutoCAD. Working towards or hoping to achieve RICS Chartership. This role requires you to have a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm Holiday: 25 days (pro-rata’d) plus bank holidays.
