AS A GRADUATE SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANT AT ARUP, YOU WILL BE WORKING CLOSELY WITH EXPERIENCED SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANTS TO:

  • Undertake Thermal and Building Regulation Compliance modelling using IESVE, Grasshopper and/or other software
  • Assist with development and deployment of advanced modelling techniques & tools to support early design stage building performance analytics
  • Prepare and input to decarbonisation strategies for buildings with respect to both operational and embodied carbon
  • Represent Arup at meetings with the client, other consultants and/or contractors
  • Prepare reports, presentations and site reports
Responsibilities

We’re looking for graduates who pursuing a degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (NFQ Level 8/9 or equivalent and recognised by Engineers Ireland to permit future Chartership ).

We also value:

  • Prior experience or internships in the field of building performance analytics (energy, carbon, comfort, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Python scripting
  • Passion for sustainability & design analytics
