POSITION SUMMARY:
Reports to the Senior Manager Supply Chain Planning, the Bulk Demand Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient supply of raw materials and bulk products to meet production demands. By collaborating with key stakeholders and leveraging data insights, you will help optimize inventory levels, mitigate risks of shortages, and contribute to the overall operational efficiency and success of the facility. Your strategic planning and proactive approach will be essential in meeting market demands and maintaining a steady flow of high-quality cannabis products.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning, supply chain, or related functions within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of capacity planning and inventory management.
- High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Power Point, Word);
- Proficiency with ERP systems and planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, Ample, D365).
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret a wide range of data to drive decision making.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple departments.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience in the Cannabis industry preferred but not require.
