Description Job Summary: The Bulk Plant Deliver Driver has a CDL driver with a Hazmat endorsement to safely and efficiently deliver bulk fuel, propane, or both to our established customer base. This role also supports daily operations in the warehouse, including preparing oil orders and operating a forklift. The position will assist with various delivery routes and plant activities as needed. Primary Job Duties: Adhere to the company’s Vision and Core Values. Adhere to and comply with the company’s handbook and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by delivering bulk fuel or propane to customers. Prospect and grow customer base by identifying new opportunities in surrounding communities. Prepare delivery tickets and complete paperwork for processing. Complete propane system hookups and gas tests as needed. Provide parts support and perform propane equipment diagnostics. Assist bulk plant customers and process orders for oil products Assist and fill in on other routes and provide support within the plant as needed. Observe and adhere to safety and security procedures. Deliver and assist with other propane and petroleum products as needed. Perform all duties and responsibilities according to established safety rules and guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications/Preference: Education: HS diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 2 years related experience and training preferred. Certificate, Licenses, Registrations: Class A/B CDL required. Hazmat Endorsement required. Tanker endorsement required. Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: Ability to read, write and understand English required. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and work with tight deadlines while exercising attention to detail, preferred. General math skills: addition, subtraction, and multiplication required. Excellent customer service skills and excellent communication skills, preferred. Experience using computers, including email, electronic log books, and other applications, preferred. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Other Essential Functions: Ability to have regular and consistent attendance at work. Perform job duties on-site at the company assigned. Specific vision abilities for this job include close, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus required.
