Description

Position Overview: The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials, parts, and products within a warehouse or production facility. This position plays a vital role in ensuring inventory accuracy, production support, and timely delivery of goods to internal and external customers. Essential Job Functions: * Load, unload, and move materials using pallet jacks, or electric stackers. * Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments. * Store materials in designated areas, ensuring organization and accessibility. * Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. * Communicate any material shortages, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors. * Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Requirements: * Able to work in Warehouse Elements – high heat and cold temperatures. * Able to lift an average of 40lbs repetitively. * High School Diploma preferred. * Experience with a pallet jack Other Skills/Abilities: * Comfortable in a fast-paced environment * Have the ability to work overtime. * Verbal and Written communication skills Physical Demands: * Bending and lifting up to 40 lbs. * Standing for extended periods.
