Pay: £15 per hour + performance related bonuses

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
  • Experience cooking smash burgers or similar fast-paced, high-quality burgers.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in food service or hospitality.
  • Passion for provenance, quality ingredients, and culinary creativity.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and energetic.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Burger Partner, you’ll combine culinary creativity with leadership:

  • Smash Burger Expertise — cooking and creating high-quality smash burgers, including specials that highlight provenance and flavor.
  • Team Management — supervising staff, managing daily operations, and inspiring your team to deliver excellence.

This is a hands-on, full-time role where you’ll be at the grill, assembling burgers, and leading the team in fast-paced service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service and food quality.
  • Cook and assemble smash burgers, sides, and special menu items to high standards.
  • Develop and create special burgers that highlight local ingredients and provenance.
  • Manage daily operations, including rotas, stock, and workflow.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
  • Deliver professional, friendly service to all guests.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining space.
  • Enforce food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
  • Support management in menu innovation and operational improvements.
