Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Crew Member to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will assist in various kitchen and restaurant tasks to ensure efficient operations.
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer queries
- Uphold food safety regulations and procedures at all times
- Support the team in maintaining stock levels and inventory control
- Utilise time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional menu items
- Demonstrate basic maths skills when handling cash transactions
Experience:
- Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous
- Familiarity with culinary terminology and food preparation methods is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to help customers and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Proficiency in time management to meet service demands promptly
